Handmade Antique Milkcan

This featured photo is this Milkcan specifically - lid is currently rusted on. My absolute favorite pieces to work on are my handmade milk cans. As an active intern on a production dairy farm I feel it’s my way of preserving a piece of history and they are very near and dear to my heart. All pieces have my signature floral-abstract concept which is done free handed, no stencil. Generous sized hole cut at the bottom to accommodate most lights. Can be in or outdoors. Recommended to put cement paver underneath if going in the garden to create barrier from the moisture in the soil. Treat seasonally with a can of matte finish clear coat to help prevent deterioration.
